So now that Christmas Day has come and gone,many of you are left alone relaxing after the chaos of having family and friends over. How many of you had the argh moment? The moment in which you were like "argh! I wish I had this..." Mine came yesterday while making a my Cuban roast pork shoulder in the oven. I had left it the allotted time but couldn't figure out if it was done. Of course as I looked around the kitchen I realized ARgh! I don't have a meat thermometer to check if it's ready. Thankfully it was and none of us got food poisoning but a meat thermometer is one of those things I don't use often,but really do need for instances like yesterday.
