7 Quick Takes Volume 20

It's Friday! That means it's 7  Quick Takes time! Thanks to Jennifer over at Conversion Diary for hosting!

1.So it's official we have decided to Home school next year. I am not at all nervous with my decision and am actually extremely excited about our decision. Now to figure out the curriculum or what I will be doing next year. So many options but all good stuff! Any suggestions?

2. Talking about Homeschooling I have to say I am extremely excited because Lo has begun reading. Thanks to my friend suggesting  this:

and two homeschooling moms suggesting this:

I got this :)
3. And in honor of Lo reading I thought I would post this :)

4.I started reading the book "Sons of Cain" by Val Bianco.

Here is the synopsis: An ancient group of twelve unspeakably powerful men are prepared to implement mass suicide in the United States. Already in control of the Congress and the Presidency, all that they lack is the Supreme Court. The only thing standing between these SONS OF CAIN and the lives of the Court is a small group of dedicated warriors. Wealthy ex SEAL, Nick Rieper, and his dozen, Knights of Longinus, may be the most deadly strike force alive. The have pledged their lives, their fortunes and their honor to battle international Satanism. Battle is joined as they engage the Cainites and their demon leader, Namon, in mortal combat. They stand alone as the only force alive with the knowledge, the skill and the faith to prevent a crime that will change America... forever.

So far I haven't been able to put this book down!! So if you want a great read check it out!

5.I've been on a girls dress kick lately spending more money than I should on dresses but I just think it looks so beautiful when little girls wear dresses. I have the terrible habit of matching the two girls. They are going to hate me when they're older but I sure am enjoying doing it now. Check out some of the dresses I ordered for them :

Aren't they cute??
6. I had to share my lo's little city creations. He always impresses me with his building skills. It's funny how long he can stay doing these little creations and how well they come out!

7.I reached 1000 fans on Facebook this week and beyond excited! Thank you to all the wonderful people for helping make that happen. Make sure and stop by the Thank you Giveaway I am having on my page. Your chance to win 1 of 11 Prizes!!It will be up later this afternoon so check out my giveaways for details :)

Have a wonderful weekend and Week!

We love LeapFrog. I love that they have letters and numbers now too. Which is so nice to take a break from stuff and still be learning while watching a video

Emily and Luka have Bob books as well and I have been working with Luka on reading them. We also have those videos which I think are great but do not have enough construction vehicles in them to keep his interest :) Good luck with homeschooling next year!
