A weight loss journey...

Many of you have seen my little 4.0 go from a newborn to a chubby delicious 6 month old. With each passing day he grows older and bigger and stronger all done with just nursing on my part. However, nursing him has had its draw backs and that's the hunger I get. So while 4.0 has been growing well...so have I. Instead of loosing the baby weight I've packed on a few extra pounds. I've been so busy with life, raising 4 kids, homeschooling and blogging that well, I've let myself go! Well enough is enough!

My 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up and I don't want to set my sites on wedding weight, but it sure would be nice to look like this again:
I know a change needs to come now! It will take baby steps to get there. Bottom line, a lifestyle  change. One that can be incorporated into my busy life style, and not give me the feeling that I am suffering through life just eating rice cakes and water. in the past I know with diets like that yes I will loose weight but as soon as a party or dinner date comes around "there goes the diet" That is why I am so happy to announce I have teamed up with Weight Watchers and will be using their program for 3 months to kick start my weight loss journey.  I am writing to you all on week 3 and have already lost 9.1#'s since I started 3 weeks ago. The change has been amazing not only in the fact that I've lost 9 pounds but that I see myself truly starting to make better decisions with my food choices.

Weight Watchers is so user friendly you can use it on the go,all the time! With your online subscription you can just download an app to your phone and take the program on the go. It will automatically load your daily points, restaurants, track your points and so much more! It's like having a food coach with you at all times!

Not only does it help you track your points on the but their web program has so much to offer from recipe builders to motivating you with ideas and success stories.

I am so excited about this program. I am so excited about this diet. I know that If I follow it slowly but surely I will make my goal weight. Who says I can't look fabulous with 4 kids? Congrats on the anniversary! Losing weight is hard. There are many gadgets out the for you to work with. Trackers and logs canbe a big help. Play around and see what works for you. Good luck!

I thought I was the only one to be ravenous while feeding baby--my husband thought I was making it up! I also have not lost any weight with breastfeeding, though I know I am still doing the pair of us good!

I am in the same boat as you, nursing makes me super hungry and I just don't have time for myself with a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a 6 month old to care for.
