Finding Your First Wig

*I was financially compensated for this post and worked in collaboration with my sponsor.

Many people do not know where to begin when it comes to getting their first wig. Although you may think that getting a wig will not solve all of your problems, the fact of the matter is that there are plenty of benefits to putting a wig on top of your head. If you are someone who has become saddened by your lack of hair, then there is no reason to let yourself continue to live this way.
With human hair wigs from AdventHair.com, you can make sure that you can add a bit more confidence to your life. No one will suspect a thing when you put one of these human hair wigs because they are too realistic for anyone to notice that anything is wrong.
While wigs made from human hair are definitely more expensive than some of the other options, you have to remember that there is a limited supply of this type of wig around the world. Only so many people are willing to sell their hair, so it makes sense for the prices to be higher on this kind of wig. There is an almost endless supply of wigs made from synthetic materials around the world, so you are obviously not going to have to pay that much to get that kind of wig. At the end of the day, you need to go with whatever helps you feel comfortable while you are walking around during the day.

Wonderful of you to have a post on this. Wigs are being talked about more and more. They are used for fun hair trends when your own hair won't cooperate and they are needed for health reasons. Your right it is very important that you like the wig and it's comfortable. Take your time when picking one out.

The Look Good, Feel Better program can help women going through chemo to connect to places in their local communities with the best quality wigs - go to www.cancer.org to find a group near you!

You have described me in your post - I am very sad that I have a lot of hair loss in the front of my head and I have been thinking about a week but not sure where to find them. Thank you so much.

Human hair wigs can make such a difference. My mother lost her hair during chemo (doing great now!) and spent a lot of time looking for something that looked and felt natural.

I completely agree with your last statement that you need to go with whatever helps you feel comfortable. My mother passed away from brain cancer a couple of years ago, and so many people told her to get a wig or wear scarves. She, however, was most comfortable with her small amount of natural hair or a hat. So, do what's comfortable and makes you feel the most confident, whether it be a wig, hat, scarf, or all natural :)
