cloth diapers and DIY homemade baby wipes
Upcycle old clothing into diapers, bibs, burp cloths etc.
Make your own baby food. You can make it organic which is better for our land and water, plus it creates less waste of glass or plastic containers.
Breastfeed - free, always there, and completely natural
Have lots of Patience and LOVE...It goes a long way!!
I'm expecting my first but cloth diapering is the best thing I've found so far to start green!
Replacing disposable items for cloth/re-usable as much as possible and as much as you feel comfortable with. Cloth Diapers, cloth wipes (for baby and you), cloth in the kitchen instead of paper towels. Also, buying soaps/detergents in bulk to save on buying items that are over packaged. I could go on and on!
Baby-led weaning is super-green. No trash from jars, boxes, and pouches. Just let the baby feed himself the food the family is eating.
Cloth diapering! I tried to get DS in board but had no luck. This time around I am just doing it !
Use cloth diapers and cloth wipes
Cloth diapers, homemade laundry soaps and cleaning supplies, breastfeeding! I would loooove this!
Cloth diapering and breastfeeding are the two most green things you can do for your baby and the planet!
homemade baby food was the most economical and we had no waste by throwing out jars or pouches
I think homemade baby food, coconut oil for a cure all, and cloth diapering are the BEST green parenting tips!
Homemade baby food.
Use biodegradable bags to freeze breast milk in.
Use as many reusable items as possible! Babies and kids can produce A TON of waste but most of that could be avoided with reusable wipes, cloth diapers, cloth napkins, cloth towels instead of paper towels, etc.
We cloth diaper, make our own baby food, use reusable products and products made from recycled materials, recycle, and use eco friendly products.
breastfeed and make your own baby food.
super easy way to save $$ and go green is cloth diapers... but also use cloth wipes
Research EVERYTHING. Once you start digging you will be surprised at some of the everyday things that can harm us or the environment. And when in doubt do what your great great great grandparents would have done! :)
Use reusable cloth baby wipes.
Breastfeed your baby...
When you do things that are better for the earth, they are also better for the health of you and your family. The reverse is also true! Do what you can, start out small, and eventually you will be living an easy green life.
If you don't buy paper towels you won't use paper towels...best green tip....go with good ole dish rags :) will have 2 in cloth in november.
I use some washing soda and baking soda in rinse cycle and wash with soap nuts :)
2 babes in cloth, love it!
Cloth Diapering is my best green tip! I love it and they are so much more eco friendly and way cuter!!
What better than to start with good old Cloth Diapers and breastfeeding. I don't use chemicals when cleaning either. Try out dawn liquid dish washing fluid + vinegar to clean the shower and bathtub. Works miracles!
Breastfeeding, babywearing, baby led weaning, cloth diapers, buy local, reuse, recycle
I use econuts to avoid laundry chemicals
reuse as much as you can
Cloth diaper, breastfeeding, babywearing-all so much better for the earth and for mama and baby.
Using reusable cloth wipes, glass bottles, cloth diapers
Homemade baby food, breastfeeding, cloth diapers and cloths none of these things are difficult, hard or gross one you get the hang of it. I actually now find all these things fun and enjoyable.
I use paper in whatever product I can instead of cloth. Unpaper, mamma cloth, cloth wipes and cloth diapers.
Everything you can go green with do it ! :)
That cloth diapers really aren't that gross!
super excited about this giveaway!
Loving our cloth diapers.
DIY baby food, homemade chemical free cleaners, and cloth diapers of course!
Hang your clothes on the laundry line. It will help get stains out.
Cloth diapers are great!
We recycle all packing from our food as well as dry our cloth diapers in the sun (though they stay wet for days with the humidity lately!). We also use a tiny handvac to spot clean instead of hauling out the huge, energy-sucking Hoover. Baby crumblies can only go so far.
Cloth diapering isn't THAT bad! :)
Reuse everything you can
My favorite "green" thing is using vinegar and water to clean. It get things SO much cleaner than most of the chemical cleaners I've use and I feel comfortable letting my little ones help me with the chores when we're using it.
cloth diapers and dry out in the sun!
Wash your cloth diapersby hand once in a while! Also hang them to dry.
Breastfeeding, cloth diapers, cloth wipes, home made items, BLW, recycle!
use cloth diapers and cloth wipes
Breastfeeding!
My best green parenting tip is to just try your best! if you can breastfeed - awesome, if not - thats okay too! If you can make your own baby food- fantastic, if you need to buy some for convenience or ease - great! If you can use cloth- perfect, if disposables suit you better that's fine too. Just be the best you can be and do little things here and there :)
My best green parenting tips are to cloth diaper, breastfeed, make your own baby food, and buy kiddo clothes 2nd hand. :)
Use cloth diapers!
I can't say how much we've saved--both on trash and economically by using cloth diapers. Next time I want to use cloth wipes too!
