Slow and Steady Goes The Scale...

*Although I received 3 months free membership. All opinions are 100% mine.

It's been about 2 months since I began Weight Watchers and I couldn't be happier. I love that you can eat as many fruits and vegetables as you like (within reason of course) and they have a delicious line of Weight Watcher treats and ice cream you can try. But don't fret any ice cream brand will do,  you just punch in your numbers into your smart phone app and you know what you are eating. Sweets are always my weakness when it comes to dieting so this is a huge plus.

I've had a few hiccups along the road, between going on vacation to my daughters birthday. Those were hard events to truly follow a diet but I was able to go through them keeping a "Weight Watchers mind frame" always realizing that tomorrow was a new day. That's one of the things I love about this diet. Everyday is a new day. No matter how bad you do the day before, just "get back on the horse" and try again. You realize that it begins affecting your everyday food decisions. Do I eat the slice of cake that is 10 points or do I go for a lighter cookie and a cup of coffee that is only 5.  I still get to have my dessert and eat it too :)

As of my last weigh in I've lost 16#'s. It's been slow and steady but not overwhelming. I haven't gone hungry and at times have stuffed myself to the gills. You learn to love foods that are healthy for you. A huge plus when you are nursing, because you know that the food you eat affect your little one.

Bottom Line: I was given a 3 month membership for free to try it out. I will absolutely continue this diet when my "Free Trial" is over. I can't say enough good things about this diet. With the technology
available to us today this diet and counting points is so easy, even WHEN I'm chasing 4 kids around.

I may not be a skinny model but I'm on my way to a better me, better health and healthier lifestyle choices. Won't you join me on my journey?

Good for you! Just remember it's about creating longterm healthy lifestyle not just living in the moment. I recently lost 17 pounds and it's amazing how much better I feel!

Weight watchers was always a diet plan I wanted to try.... Not because I felt like I needed help, but more so to eat healthier... I've always been overweight, but my frame doesn't show it as drastically as others, and for that I am thankful. Several years ago I completely gave up soda and fast food... And the pounds just fell off... Literally.. Then I added in some exercise (walking the dog around the block and swimming) and more came off... Then I hit the plateau... And was stuck there until I became pregnant... Now I feel like its going to be hard to lose again.. I hate looking at the tipping scales, but I know that I haven't gained that much weight... And am doing considerably better than I had thought I would. It still bugs me though after all the hard work to get the pounds off. I may try weight watchers post partum if need be. Thanks for the great review.

I have always heard that the best weight loss is slow and steady. When you lose a ton of weight at once you tend to put it back on quickly.
