Happy Feast of St.Rita!!!

Today May 22 is the Feast of St.Rita of Casia, Known as the Saint of the Impossible

Saint Rita has always had a very special place in my heart and I had to write about her today. Here is a short snippet about her life St.Rita. She is a saint with such a beautiful story that inspires all callings in life. She was blessed with many gifts form God including bearing the stigmata of one of his thorns. My dream is to one day visit her interrupt body in Italy. She is an inspiration for me to be a better wife and mother each and every day. Because that is what saints are. We look to them for inspiration,as role models or people who will intercede for us with God because of the state of life they lead they hold special graces and favors in his eyes. We do not worship them or treat them at the same level as God, but love them for the lives the lead. With this I leave you with the novena to St.Rita. May she help you on your path and may we follow in her example!

St Rita has always been one of my favorite Saints. Probably because of the "impossible causes" part of her patronage. As a matter of fact, I have her prayer card on my window sill in the kitchen. I can speak with her every time I do dishes. I guess the fact that I'll probably never get a dishwasher....is as impossible a cause there is!
I love this post!
