7 Quick Takes Volume 6

Happy Friday!
This has litterally been THE longest week of my life. But alas Friday is here!

Princess Gigi makes me laugh. She always has some random outfit she pulls out of nowhere and owns it.lol Here are a few of her latest installments.lol

Even Bummie joined in on the fun!

I have a conffession to make,I'm obssesed with buying candles and using them. I always always have one on and as I was walking by my pantry I realized I have a problem. Here is some of my stash in the pantry...Well I'll have the nicest smelling house if we ever loose electricity.

So I was perusing some of the Quick Takes today before posting mine and I ran across Finding Great Joy's and I have to say she sent my sugar cravings into overdrive. So I started searching around and though I think I'm going to try making this badboy ...let's see how it comes out :)

So Lo dropped a full cup of "Starbucks" kids hot cocoa about a week and a half ago on our drive way. It's rained 3 times and guess what...it's still there. I tried washing it today and it still has
I have to say 1st of all EWWW and second this is quite unnerving...

On a brighter note I found a great local dairy that sells there milk in glass bottles! They are very convenient to buy and are priced relatively well for being from a small dairy etc..It's about .70 cents more than buying the store brand organic milk, but the health benefits of buying from a local dairy are so much more and worth the price. Hub and I agree it's worth cutting here and there but not with milk especially with the kidos :) Plus I don't know whethere its the taste or what not but these kids are asking for milk now like it's going out of style! They would only drink their milk warm ever since I bought this milk(I've been getting their Cream line which is cream on top) and they love it! They call it Cream milk and are opting for this over juice, which is a huge check mark in the mom column :)

Have any of you checked out the dopes protesting on Wall Street? I call them dopes because I've not only had a chance to read their "Demands" I did find this picture funny. Since they are protesting big business and all..There are a lot of flaws in our system but get your act together people..there are many flaws in your protesting...There's so much I want to write on this but since these are suppose to be quick i'll leave you with this picture.

AY YA YAY I feel like it took me 8 hours to write this. Between one distraction and another but alas I'm on number 7 and I have no idea what to write about.lol Except the darn flies! They are driving me crazy! It's been gorgeous weather out here in Kansas but these flies are making it so unbearable. They are literally perched outside waiting for an unsuspecting door to open and literally 150 fly in. I've resorted to fly tape (so white trash) and walking around with a fly swatter. To boot one of my darling,Angelic off-springs pulled out the mesh in most of our screens making them nice little cozy openings for the flies. I've had to resort once again to my Trailer park skills and pull out the old duck tape. Thankfully my neighbor at "That honey do list" had the best post on fixing those screens yourself. Next week that will be my to do project. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime enjoy a picture of what I'm living with..classy I know..-_-

you did so well on your qucik takes. I tried it once, and used up all my blogging material for a whole week it seemed. I ran out of anything to say! I love those old milk bottled. haven't seen them in decades! and love all the little ones dressing up. so cute.

We always knew that chocolate milk is impossible to get out of fabric--now we know it stains concrete, as well.
